Indiana Welcome Center exhibit featured ugly lamp competition and decorated trees
Hammond IN. 1-11-2010 – Visitors to the annual “A Christmas Story” Comes Home exhibit were able to vote on their favorite decorated tree and the ugliest lamp on display. The winners were announced after votes were tallied and are as follows:
Ugly Lamp
1st place #21 Michelle Johnston & Katie Noojin of Griffith with the foot lamp
2nd place #17 (The cast lamp)
3rd place #26 (The chandelier-style lamp)

1st place #28 Polish Women’s Alliance
2nd place #26 Northwest Indiana Woodworkers Association
3rd place #30 Respite Care Services
Thousands of visitors voted for their favorites as part of the holiday exhibit. “A Christmas Story” Comes Home had a number of special events from November through December. Winners of other events and more information can be found at www.aChristmasStoryComesHome.com.
