Hammond IN. October 20, 2010 – Patrice Madura Ward-Steinman, author of “Madura’s Danceland” will be at the Indiana Welcome Center for a book signing on Saturday, October 23rd from 10am to 1pm. Books are available in the Gift Shop for $21.99.
Patrice Madura Ward-Steinman is the granddaughter and daughter of the owners of the legendary Madura’s Danceland. She collated and organized the ballroom archives preserved by her father to tell the fascinating history of the Calumet Region landmark where thousands danced to live music for nearly 40 years.
The author hopes the work will bring back memories to the thousands who danced and performed at Madura’s Danceland.
