Porter County, IN. 2-23-2011 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Kidstop program celebrated their President’s Day holiday learning about the Presidents of the United States.  The children learned different aspects of each President, what they were known for and what monuments have been created to honor them.

The children then made cherry and apple turnovers in honor of George Washington who is often associated with cherry trees and Abraham Lincoln who was partial to apple pie.
