The Chesterton High School Color Guard will host its annual SPINFEST on Friday, Nov. 12 in the Fieldhouse (Entrance 30).
There is no school for all Duneland Schools students on that day. This fun, one-day clinic is available to students of the Duneland School Corporation in grades 6-11.
The clinic will start at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. with a brief performance for parents at 3:30 p.m. Each participant will learn flag basics, a flag routine and a dance routine. The cost of the clinic is $35. Each participating student will receive a flag pole with a flag and a camp t-shirt. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and applications can be picked up in the main offices of Chesterton High School, Chesterton Middle School, Liberty Intermediate, Westchester Intermediate, and St. Patrick’s School.
ALL registration forms and money must be returned to the Chesterton High School Main office by Tuesday, Nov. 2. Parents are encouraged to attend the 3:30 p.m. performance at CHS. This event will end at 4:00 p.m. Students may be picked up at CHS Entrance #30 at 4:15 p.m. For additional information, please contact Lisa Scheiber at 983-3730.
