GARY, IN. 2-22-2011 – The Gary SouthShore RailCats have named Graphic Designer Domonic Edwards Employee of the Month for January, as voted by a committee of his peers, it was announced today.

“Dom has been a tremendous addition to our family and we’re all amazed at the consistently terrific artwork he creates for us” said RailCats President/General Manager Andy Viano. “He’s an incredibly talented designer and his teammates here all realize that in giving him this much-deserved recognition.”

Edwards returned to the RailCats as Graphic Designer in November 2011 after a previous stint with the ‘Cats as Marketing and Promotions Coordinator in 2007. A Gary resident, Edwards is responsible for designing a wide variety of graphics including special logos, advertisements, flyers, t-shirts, giveaway items and much more as a member of the RailCats Marketing Team. Edwards holds a degree in 3D Modeling and Animation from the American Academy of Art.

The RailCats home opener as members of the American Association is Friday, May 20 against rival Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at 7:10 p.m. at U. S. Steel Yard. All games during the 2010 will begin ten minutes past the hour in honor of the celebration of the RailCats Tenth Anniversary.
