As always, the 2010 Gary South Shore Air Show was an excellent event to everyone to see!
The show was on Saturday July 10th and Sunday, July 11th, and thanks to the folks at the South Shore Convention & Visitors Authority, the Me Team was able to get a birds eye view so that our viewers could get a glimpse of the action as well as some pretty cool pictures for those who could not attend.
The weather was perfect and despite a few clouds, you couldn’t ask for a better day for an air show. The people in Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas lined the beaches of Marquette Park in Gary Indiana, and the smiles on kids faces were everywhere, not to mention the fantastic food, souvenirs and information that was available on the midway.
All in all, the South Shore CVA did an outstanding job putting this event all together for the attendees that made for an excellent weekend of excitement and family fun.
One of the main features of the event were the famous USAF Thunderbirds in their only area appearance.
