DOLLAR MONDAY/HOSPITALITY NIGHT: MONDAY, JUNE 28 @ 7 P.M. – On Dollar Mondays all summer long, get $1 hot dogs, popcorn, pop, programs, merchandise and more throughout the park. Don’t forget, when you buy one full-price ticket, the second will only cost you a buck. The RailCats also welcome all members of the hospitality industry to let someone take care of them for a change by offering groups of 20 or more tickets for only $5.  In addition, hospitality workers receive $2 ticket vouchers for a future game when they show their name tag or business card at the box office.

RUSTY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION/CRISTIAN GUERRERO DAY/CHESTERTON, DUNELAND COMMUNITY NIGHT: TUESDAY, JUNE 29 @ 6 P.M. – Tuesday, June 29 might as well be called “Giveaway Day” at U. S. Steel Yard. As part of Rusty’s Birthday Celebration, the RailCats will be giving away Rusty Banks courtesy Wintrust Wealth Management (1,000 kids), Cristian Guerrero Commemorative Posters courtesy Boyd Asphalt (1,000 fans), Picture Packs courtesy Great Lakes Orthopedics (1,000 fans) and Megaphones courtesy “A Place of Our Own” and Lake Shore Public Television (500 kids). The RailCats will honor Cristian Guerrero’s incredible feat of five homers in five consecutive plate appearances with a giveaway poster and special $5 tickets for anyone who mentions “Guerrero” at the box office on the day of the game. Cristian will be also signing autographs before the game along with the other RailCats in the Picture Packs including: Adam Klein, Chris Carrara, Brad Furnish and Third Base Coach Dallas Williams. Residents of Chesterton, Duneland, Beverly Shores, Burns Harbor, Dune Acres and Porter with a valid ID can also purchase tickets at a $2 discount at the box office on the day of the game in celebration of Chesterton/Duneland Community Night. Don’t forget that every Tuesday is Kids Day at U. S. Steel Yard. The first 1,000 youngsters (12 and under) will get a voucher for a free hot dog and all members of the RailCats Reading Club are admitted free.

FERGIE JENKINS/4-H NIGHT/WET YOUR WHISTLE WEDNESDAY: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30 @ 7 P.M. – Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame Pitcher Fergie Jenkins makes his return to U. S. Steel Yard, and once again a handful of lucky fans will get a chance to take batting practice against the legendary righty. The Cubs great will also be signing autographs and mingling with fans throughout the game. In addition, the RailCats will be teaming with local groups to raise money for area 4-H clubs while letting members show off their talents during the game.  Don’t forget that every Wednesday is Wet Your Whistle Wednesday at U. S. Steel Yard sponsored by Miller Lite and X-Rock 103.9. Take the mid-week break you know you deserve and kick back with $2 MGD and Miller Lite drafts (fans 21 and over only).
