Beverly Hills, CA – Jude Law will be a presenter at the 83rd Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today.
In 1999 Law received his first Oscar® nomination for his supporting performance in “The Talented Mr. Ripley.” He received his second nomination in 2003 for his lead performance in “Cold Mountain.”
Law’s other film credits include “Sherlock Holmes,” “The Holiday,” “The Aviator,” “Alfie” and “Road to Perdition.” He will next be seen in “Contagion,” directed by Steven Soderbergh, and “Hugo Cabret,” directed by Martin Scorsese, both due out this year.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
