The RailCats open at home on Friday, May 20th against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at 7:10 p.m. and the first 100 fans to purchase at least four tickets to Opening Night will receive a free RailCats player hat.

Opening Night 2011 will set the stage for the Tenth Anniversary Season and there are a number of surprises in store for fans on May 20. Ted “Burning Man” Batchelor will bring his unique brand of entertainment to U. S. Steel Yard courtesy of McDaniel Fire Systems. It’s gonna be a hot day of anticipation and excitement as The “Burning Man” will be set ablaze after the game, run around the bases completely engulfed in flames and slide into home plate.

Every fan through the gates on Opening Night will also receive a free RailCats rally towel courtesy NIEMI Associates and a free RailCats magnet schedule courtesy Gary Public Transportation.
