GARY, IN. – The Gary SouthShore RailCats and Fresh County Market have teamed up to announce the first-ever Tickets for Turkeys Special just in time for Thanksgiving.  Fans can now purchase regularly-priced Flex Packs of 2011 RailCats ticket vouchers and receive a free turkey, but in addition, for every pack sold, the RailCats will donate a turkey to local charities.

On the heels of the excitement surrounding the move to the American Association, the RailCats and Fresh County Market are thrilled to offer fans 2011 RailCats Flex Packs and a voucher for a free turkey at Fresh County Market. Fresh County Market is located right off 80/94 at Grant St. in Gary and can be reached by calling (219) 977-9910.

Fans who purchase a 10-game Flex Pack of 2011 Ticket Vouchers (which can be redeemed at the RailCats Box Office in any combination for any 2011 home game) for $90, will receive a voucher for a free, up to 10 pound turkey, courtesy of Fresh County Market. In addition, fans who purchase a 20-game Flex Pack will receive a voucher for a free, up to 20 pound turkey, courtesy of Fresh County Market.

For every Flex Pack sold, the RailCats will also donate a turkey to a charitable organization for distribution in the City of Gary. Turkeys will be donated to The Salvation Army, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana and Metro Corps of Gary as well as a number of other local organizations on Tuesday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at U. S. Steel Yard.
