GARY, IN. 8-10-2010 – For the second year in a row, the Gary SouthShore RailCats will host two extended postgame shows at The Buffet & Grill across from U. S. Steel Yard, August 15 and 29. The postgame shows will air live on 89.1 FM, The Lakeshore, and feature live interviews with RailCats coaches and players, plus discount food for fans heading over from the ballpark!
The RailCats host the Lake County Fielders Sunday, August 15 and the Joliet JackHammers Sunday, August 29 at 2 p.m., with the shows at The Buffet to follow directly after the NIEMI Associates Postgame Show on the RailCats Radio Network. The shows are scheduled to begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the game and will run for approximately one hour.
Lakeshore FM personality Andy Schultz will host the shows and will be joined by Manager Greg Tagert and several players, coaches and staff as they talk about the push towards a sixth-straight playoff berth. Fans will have the opportunity to interact with the broadcast as well, with the RailCats taking questions live from the audience!
The Buffet and Grill, located directly across from U. S. Steel Yard on Fifth Avenue in Gary, is the official pre and post-game destination for RailCats fans, serving a delicious Southern-style buffet lunch and dinner seven days a week. During the two extended radio shows, fans with a ticket stub from that day’s game will be able to enjoy a meal for the discount price of just $7.99 per person.

The RailCats begin a nine-game homestand Friday, August 13 which includes the Sunday afternoon finale of a three-game series with the Fielders.
