“Built by Steel, Changed by Tourism” video wins Gold Award
Hammond IN. November 3, 2010 – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority created the informational video, “Built by Steel, Changed by Tourism” for the Innovator’s Café series at the beginning of 2010. The video recently won a Gold MarCom Award in the Video category.
“Built by Steel, Changed by Tourism” showcases the history of the South Shore CVA and the local hospitality industry. The video was written and produced by the staff of the South Shore CVA, and was filmed in a continuous shoot at Marquette Park beach.
More than 5,000 entries for the 2010 competition were received from throughout the United States, Canada and other countries. The MarCom Award competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
The Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and consists of several thousand creative professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
