Crown Point, IN. – 2-21-2011 – Now is the time to Spring into Action and the 2011 Volunteer Fair is the perfect place to start. Your talents and time can be put to work to make Northwest Indiana a stronger, more supportive community.
The Crown Point Community Foundation is sponsoring the fair on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 10am to 3pm at the Crown Point High School Cafeteria, 1500 S. Main St., Crown Point, IN.
There are many nonprofit agencies that provide valuable services which create a healthy and safe environment. These agencies need our financial support, and ALSO a portion of our time. Meet the agencies and learn how you can help.
Heartland Blood Centers will be available to take blood donations at the Volunteer Fair from 10 am – 2 pm. Someone needs blood every two seconds – yet less than 5% of the eligible population gives blood. You can help! Call (219) 662-7252 to schedule an appointment.
