HELMET GIVEAWAY/GARY, MILLER COMMUNITY NIGHT: SATURDAY, JUNE 19 @ 6 P.M. – Get to the ballpark early (gates open at 5 p.m.) to make sure your child is one of the first 1,000 kids (12 and under) to receive a replica RailCats batting helmet, courtesy NIEMI Associates. Gary and Miller residents with a valid ID can also purchase tickets at a $2 discount at the box office on the day of the game.

YOUTH BASEBALL DAY/KIDS T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY: SUNDAY, JUNE 20 @ 2 P.M. – Future RailCats from throughout Northwest Indiana are invited to the ballpark as the ‘Cats celebrate young baseball stars. Wear your little league uniform and receive a $2 discount on your ticket to the game. All youth baseball players in attendance will have the chance to participate in the pregame parade (starting at 1:30 p.m.) and because it’s father’s day, have a catch with dad on the field after the game. Be there early to make sure you can be the coolest kid at school next year in your very own RailCats t-shirt, passed out free to the first 1,500 kids (age 12 and under), courtesy Strack & Van Til and The Post-Tribune.

Steel Yard this summer in search of a sixth-consecutive berth in the Northern League Championship Series and third Northern Championship.

You can submit many different event types such as Community Events, Family Fun, School and Education Related Events, Fundraisers, Music and Theater, Out of State Events, all the way to what your Local Restaurant has on special for a particular day.

• Complete Details with full contact information for your event such as a direct link to your website, email address contact, contact person details, pricing, address info as well as how much to get in a particular event whether it is free or paid, and more…
• Event Registration: You can also set the event up your event complete with a RSVP tab to have your viewers register with your event with an easy click of a button while visiting your page. You also have a RSVP Counter letting you know how many people have signed up as well as an Attendance Limits.
• Newsletter Section that allows you to have specific events for All, or your Favorite type of events that are emailed to you to let you know when something is coming up
• Bookmarking Section: You can easily add events to your favorite social bookmarking websites such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, as well as add them to you’re your Google and Yahoo Calendars on your personal web browser and more with an easy click of a button.
