GARY, IN. – December 4 will be a busy day at U. S. Steel Yard with the Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Post-Tribune already hosting Rusty’s Holiday Steel “Yard Sale”, Manager Greg Tagert announced the RailCats Winter Hitting Camp will coincide with the sale from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. for players of all ages and skill levels.
All in attendance will receive professional instruction from RailCats Tanner Townsend and Mike Rohde, along with Hitting Coach Mick Curran and Tagert. Participants must be at least six years old and will receive two and a half hours of professional instruction at the affordable price of $65 per camper (many professionals will ask for a similar price for one hour of instruction).
The camp will be conducted in the RailCats indoor batting cages as well as in the home clubhouse. Each camper will also receive a voucher for the RailCats home opener in 2011.
