GARY, In. — The Gary SouthShore RailCats Monday exhibition game against the Lake County Fielders, scheduled for 2:30 p.m., has been canceled by persistent rain in Northwest Indiana.  The game will not be made up.

The rainout is the third for the RailCats this spring and leaves the team with only one remaining exhibition game, Tuesday, May 18 at 2 p.m. against the Schaumburg Flyers.  That game will be broadcast over the web on www.railcatsbaseball.com and at www.thelakeshorefm.com.

The RailCats open the 2010 season Thursday, May 20 at 7 p.m. against the Kansas City T-Bones.  Great seats are still available, all at the lowest prices in Chicagoland.  No seat is more than $10 to see a RailCats game, and tickets can be purchased by visiting www.railcatsbaseball.com or calling 219.882.2255 during regular business hours.
