La Porte, IN 3-10-2011 – Valparaiso University nursing students, in conjunction with Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital, will host a free community health fair on Tuesday, March 22 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The fair will be held at IU Health La Porte Hospital, Auditorium, lower level. Glucose and blood pressure screenings are offered to attendees. Education on the following health topics include: diabetes, diet education, vaccines, osteoporosis, heart disease, medication safety, public health, community resources, mental health, breast cancer, prevention of chronic illness and dental health.
