SCI-FI NIGHT/PETER MAYHEW APPEARANCE/HIGHLAND, MUNSTER COMMUNITY: TUESDAY, JULY 6, 2010 @ 6 P.M. – Calling all Storm Troopers – the RailCats will celebrate the iconic Star Wars film series and other science fiction classics with themed promotions, demonstrations and more. Plus don’t miss an appearance from Peter Mayhew aka Chewbacca who will be signing autographs for fans. Members of the 501st Legion will be in attendance as well so watch out for Darth Vader and many more of your favorite Star Wars characters! In addition, Highland and Munster residents with a valid ID can purchase tickets at a $2 discount at the box office on the day of the game. As always, every Tuesday is Kids Day at U. S. Steel Yard with the first 1,000 kids receiving a voucher for a free hot dog and all members of the RailCats Reading Club are admitted free. The ‘Cats will also be handing out Picture Packs to the first 1,000 fans entering the ballpark sponsored by Great Lakes Orthopedics. RailCats in the July 6 edition of the Picture Packs include: Brad Halsey, Mike Rohde, Jamie Bennett, John Parham and James Baker and all five will be available before the game to sign autographs!
